Sydney Send Off – Everything You Need to Know (FAQ Inside)

As race day gets closer, we’ve been receiving lots of messages and emails here at the track. To help you make the most of your night, we’ve put together this Race Day FAQ.

Event Times

Q. What time does it start?
Spectator gates open 3:30pm
Bikes on track for practice 5:00pm
Racing from 6:00pm

Q. What time does it finish?
We aim to complete racing by 10:00pm (as a guide only).


Tickets

Q. How much are tickets?
All ticket prices and online sales are available here:

Q. Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Yes, tickets will be available at the gate.
Online tickets are cheaper, beat the queues, and are required to gain FREE entry to the Sydney Dragway event.

Q. Do you offer Companion Card tickets?
Yes. Available online and at the gate.
Companion Card tickets must be used with a valid pension ticket.


Food & Drink

Q. Can we bring our own food?
Yes. Personal food is permitted.
No commercially available takeaway food or glass allowed.

Q. Is BYO allowed?
No. Bags will be checked on entry.
A fully licensed bar will be operating, including $5 cans of Mountain Goat Beer.


Facilities & Viewing

Q. Is there reserved seating?
No. Seating is first-come, first-served.
The main grandstand is usually fully shaded by 3:30pm.
Terraced area seating: please bring camping chairs or blankets.

Q. Is parking available?
Yes. Plenty of overflow parking is available if the main car park fills.

Q. Do you have corporate boxes?
Yes. Boxes suit 15–20 people.

Pit Access (Special for This Event)

For this event only, all General Admission ticket holders will be able to access a designated pit-style work area set up with barriers.
This allows fans to get up close to riders, take photos, and grab autographs, without entering the official pits.


What Should I Bring?

  • Hearing protection for kids (and adults if sensitive to noise)

  • Sunglasses or safety glasses

  • Sun protection

  • Old clothes – speedway can get dusty!


Merchandise

Trackside merchandise will be available, along with driver and team merch.


Runsheet & Program

A race program will be available for a gold coin donation to Camp Quality, available from the 50/50 raffle ticket table.


Sydney Dragway – FREE Entry Details

Q. Where do I park if attending the Dragway first?
Please park in D1 or D2, located between both venues.

Q. What time can we access the Dragway?
Speedway ticket holders can enter the Dragway spectator area from 12:00pm.


Highline Lounge Ticket Holders

If you have purchased a Highline Lounge ticket, please visit the box office on arrival to collect your wristband.
