While things have been quiet online, we have been far from quiet at the venue. Our team has been working hard to bring the facility up to a standard that reflects the passion and potential of the complex.

The track has been reshaped, key areas have been upgraded, and the team have focused on building a strong and sustainable future for the venue and for the sport.

We’re confident in our future and with your support we will continue to make necessary changes to deliver a better experience for our racers, our fans and our sponsors.

This venue has a big role to play in Australian speedway and we are committed to ensuring it becomes a place where drivers are excited to race, fans feel welcome, and partners are proud to be involved.

A quick snapshot of our upcoming events includes a Test and Tune for competitors on Friday 7th November.

This session will allow drivers and teams to get valuable laps on the newly shaped track, in preparation for the season ahead.

Unfortunately, as this is an opportunity to get our team familiar with the operations of the facility, this event will be closed to spectators.

We know many of our loyal fans are eager to return, and we appreciate that enthusiasm. November the 7th will give our crew, officials and venue staff a chance to settle in and refine our operations.

This is simply about developing a strong start so the season ahead is the best it can be.

Saturday November 22 will be the official start to the speedway season at Western Sydney Speedway.

It will be our first chance to bring everyone back together after 6 months and reignite the atmosphere at the venue.

Saturday December 6 will be Round 1 of the Hi-Tec Oils Pty Ltd Sprintcar Super Series, a major night of racing to launch into our summer.

This will lead into a few of our key events scheduled to run this season, which will include:

The Darcy Ward Invitational on Boxing Day

The history making debut of the Sprintcar Power Tour on January 3

The continuation of The HiTec Oils Sprintcar Super Series rounds

The atmosphere, the noise, the smell, the shared experience of being here.

It is all set to return.
